These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kenso mobile application ("App"), operated by Zenmonkeys Digital LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
Kenso offers subscription plans ("Kenso Pro") that provide access to premium features.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will take effect after your current billing period ends, and we will provide advance notice of any changes.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You agree NOT to:
You retain ownership of workout data, programs, and other content you create ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
Kenso Pro lets you connect your account to third-party AI assistants such as Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI) so you can ask about your training data inside those products. By connecting an AI assistant, you authorize that service — within the OAuth scopes you grant — to call Kenso tools that read (and, if granted write scopes, modify) your data on your behalf.
What integrations can do: Read scopes return workout history, programs, recovery signals, and personalized coaching insights. Write scopes (when granted) allow creating draft programs, logging freestyle workouts, and staging bulk imports for your review. Specific tools and their capabilities are listed at kensoforge.com/integrations.
Third-party processing: When an AI assistant calls Kenso tools, the data returned is sent through that AI provider's API to generate the response you see. The AI provider's terms and privacy policies govern their handling of that data. Kenso does not control AI providers' retention or training practices on responses.
Opt-out and revocation: AI integration is opt-in. You can disconnect any AI assistant at any time from Settings → Connected Apps. Revocation takes effect immediately; the AI assistant will lose access to your data and must re-authorize to reconnect.
No purchases inside AI assistants: Kenso Pro and any other paid Kenso features must be purchased on the App Store or kensoforge.com. AI integrations cannot sell, upgrade, or modify your subscription.
The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Zenmonkeys Digital LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. The Kenso name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Zenmonkeys Digital LLC.
FITNESS DISCLAIMER: The App provides workout tracking and suggestions for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a physician before starting any exercise program, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury or surgery, or have been inactive.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK — PHYSICAL INJURY: Strength training, weightlifting, and other physical exercise carry an inherent risk of serious injury, permanent disability, or death. These risks cannot be eliminated, and they exist even when exercise is performed correctly. By using the App you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily assume full responsibility for them.
You are solely responsible for your own safety, including selecting weights appropriate to your ability, using correct technique, warming up, inspecting and correctly using equipment, using safety devices or a spotter where appropriate, and training in a safe environment. Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other symptom of distress.
Workout programs, weights, repetitions, and other suggestions in the App are generated automatically from information you provide and from your logged training history. They are not reviewed or approved by a physician, physical therapist, or certified trainer, and are not tailored to your medical history. Using the App does not create a trainer-client, coach-athlete, or healthcare-provider relationship between you and Zenmonkeys Digital LLC. You should not follow any suggestion you believe to be unsafe or beyond your current ability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Zenmonkeys Digital LLC from any claim for personal injury, death, or property damage arising from your use of the App or from any exercise you perform. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain liability, so parts of this release may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
SERVICE DISCLAIMER: The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zenmonkeys Digital LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including personal injury, death, loss of data, profits, or goodwill — arising from your use of the App, from any workout, weight, or other suggestion it generates, or from your inability to use the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or of liability for personal injury caused by negligence, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zenmonkeys Digital LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
