If you connect Apple Health, cardio workouts you record on your watch or another connected app sync into Kenso automatically and show up in History. You don't have to log them by hand in the Cardio logger.
Where to find it
Open History. Synced workouts appear alongside your logged sessions, grouped by day, and are marked separately from anything you typed in yourself.
What shows up
Each synced workout shows its type, how long ago it happened, its duration, and calories, plus distance when your watch tracked it. A small badge names where it came from, such as Apple Health.
Viewing or removing one
Tap the ⋮ menu on a synced workout to open its exertion detail, or to delete it. Deleting only removes it from Kenso. The original recording stays in the source app untouched.
Why they show up separately from logged sessions
Kenso treats a workout you logged yourself in the Cardio logger and one your watch recorded as different things, even if they cover the same run: a synced workout is read-only history, while a logged session came from you typing or timing it in the app. History tells the two apart with the source badge, and they aren't counted the same way. See Cardio and training load for what actually moves your training load.
Good to know
- A synced cardio workout counts toward your training load; a cardio session you log by hand in Kenso doesn't, currently. See Cardio and training load.
- You need Apple Health connected for workouts to sync in; see Connect Apple Health.
- Distance shows in the unit you're already using (miles or kilometers, based on your display setting), regardless of the unit the source app recorded it in.
- Synced workouts only appear once you've connected a source; Kenso doesn't pull in workouts retroactively beyond what the source shares on sync.
- If a synced workout is missing distance or calories, that's because the source app didn't record it. Kenso shows whatever the source provides and nothing more.
