Tap Finish in the top-right of the logger when you're done. Kenso asks you to confirm, lets you adjust the logged duration, and offers an optional effort rating before saving the workout to your history.

Where to find it

Finish is in the top-right of the logger, next to the three-dot menu. You can also finish without opening the logger at all. While a workout is in progress, Home shows a banner for it with its own Finish button.

Confirming

A "Finish Workout?" prompt appears with Yes, Finish Workout to confirm, or Keep Training to go back without saving. Tap Edit duration if the time Kenso tracked doesn't match how long you actually trained, and set it manually or pick one of the quick options.

Rating the session

Two optional ratings appear before you confirm: how hard the whole session felt (a 1–5 scale), and, if at least one muscle got a completed working set this session, how each of those muscles felt. Neither is required; skip them and tap Yes, Finish Workout.

What happens after

After you tap Yes, Finish Workout, sets are saved and PRs and progression update (unless the session was marked as a deload). If you're signed in (not a guest) and made changes to your exercises on a program workout (a swap, add, remove, or reorder), you'll then see a prompt asking whether to keep those changes for future workouts before the save finishes. See Change exercises mid-workout. Once saved, the workout appears in your history.

Finishing from Home

If you have a workout in progress, Home shows a banner for it below the readiness dials with its own Finish button. This opens a duration-and-effort dialog similar to the logger's, and saves the workout without you having to open the logger first.

Good to know

  • The Finish button fills in solid once every exercise is complete, but you don't have to wait for that. You can finish early with sets left unmarked.
  • If you change your mind after tapping Finish, the workout still shows up in your history and can be edited afterward.
  • If you'd rather not save the workout at all, use Discard workout instead: from the logger's three-dot menu, or the Discard button on Home's banner. See Pause and resume a workout.
