Your coach is an AI chat built on your own training data. It can talk through your recovery, review a workout, adjust your program, and answer training questions. It does not answer questions about how to use the Kenso app itself; for that, use this help center or email support@kensoforge.com.

Where to find it

Tap Coach in the bottom navigation.

What your coach can help with

The coach reads your workout history, active program, recovery signals, and personal records to answer questions like "how hard should I push today" or "what's limiting my progress." It can pull up a past workout or a specific lift and talk through it, propose a new training program from a conversation, adjust your current program (swap an exercise, add or remove one), and draw a quick chart when a picture makes the trend clearer. Opened from inside a workout, it also becomes a workout-scoped assistant, offering swaps or an easier version of what's left in your session.

What it won't do

The coach does not know the Kenso app's screens, settings, or navigation, so it won't try to explain them. If you ask something like "where do I turn off the rest timer," it will point you to this help center or support@kensoforge.com instead of guessing. This is deliberate: a training model has no special knowledge of the app's UI, and guessing here would mean making things up.

Getting started

The first time you open Coach, you'll see a handful of starter chips: quick questions to get a conversation going. Tap one, or type your own question. As you chat, the coach saves durable facts about you (injuries, goals, preferences) so it doesn't ask you the same things twice: see What your coach remembers.

Good to know

  • Coach chat is a Pro feature. New accounts get one free session to try it before subscribing: see Free vs. Pro.
  • Before any of your data reaches an AI provider, Kenso asks for your consent: see How Kenso shares data with AI.
  • Coach chat is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
  • Tap "New chat" to start over; your saved memories carry forward even after you clear a conversation.
