Home is where Kenso opens: a short coaching headline, a row of dials reading your recovery and effort, today's workout ready to start, and cards that surface your weekly review and coach insight when there's something worth showing. Everything on Home is a shortcut into a fuller page. Tap a card to see more.

Where to find it

Home is the first screen you land on when you open Kenso, and the app icon or logo always returns you there.

The dials

Two dials, Recovery and Effort, show for everyone: Recovery reads your readiness to train today; Effort tracks how much you've trained today relative to a typical day for you. Tap either to see what's driving the number. Pro accounts see two more: Strength (your strength trend) and Fatigue (a training-load read shared with the Recovery page). See Effort dial and Readiness.

Today's workout

The hero card shows the workout Kenso has lined up for today and lets you start it. A switcher row alongside it lets you preview or start a different day instead of today's default (useful if you're training out of order or picking up a missed session).

Optimize panel

When Kenso has a suggested adjustment to today's session (based on your recovery or recent training), it surfaces in an Optimize panel under the workout card. You can accept or dismiss each suggestion; nothing changes until you do.

Weekly review

Once a training week wraps, a Weekly Review card appears on Home with what went well, what to watch, and what's next. See Weekly review.

Coach insight

A coach insight block surfaces short, contextual observations about your recent training. This is separate from asking the coach a question directly. It's Kenso proactively pointing something out.

Getting Started guide

New accounts see a "Welcome to Kenso" card with a row of tappable checklist chips until the required steps are done. See The Getting Started checklist on Home.

Good to know

  • The dials and cards on Home are read-only shortcuts. The underlying data and settings live on their own pages (Programs, Performance, Recovery, Settings).
  • You can turn the Coach Insight block off from Settings → Preferences → Coach Insight if you'd rather not see it.
