Every exercise card has a three-dot menu in its top-right corner with the actions you can take on that exercise: swap it, change its progression strategy, set its rest time, mark it as a deload, or delete it from this workout.

Where to find it

Tap the ⋮ icon on any exercise card while logging.

What's in it

  • Swap exercise: opens the exercise library to replace this exercise. See Swap an exercise.
  • Strategy: opens a focused strategy screen for this exercise, where you can change how Kenso adjusts your targets over time. It's a separate screen from the Tips/History/Trend sheet below, not a tab inside it.
  • Rest timer: set a rest time for this exercise that Kenso remembers for future workouts. Grayed out with "Not available for custom exercises" if you added the exercise yourself. See The rest timer.
  • Deload: toggles a lighter target for this exercise alone, for this session. See Deload a session.
  • Delete: removes the exercise from this workout, with a confirmation first.

Other ways into the exercise

Tapping the exercise's name or its thumbnail circle opens a separate sheet with three tabs (Tips, History, and Trend) for that exercise, rather than the three-dot menu's action list.

Good to know

  • Deleting an exercise only removes it from this session; it doesn't touch your program until you confirm at Finish. See Change exercises mid-workout.
  • The rep-range picker (tap the REPS label above the set rows) isn't part of this menu. See Custom rep ranges.
