You can connect your Kenso account to ChatGPT so you can ask about your training (recovery, programs, workout history) directly from a ChatGPT conversation. It's a Pro feature and uses a standard OAuth connection, not a Kenso login shared with OpenAI.
Where to find it
In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → Advanced, turn on Developer mode, then Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Set it up
- You'll need a ChatGPT plan that supports Connectors.
- Turn on Developer mode under Settings → Connectors → Advanced: ChatGPT's connector support currently sits behind this flag.
- Back in Settings → Connectors, tap Add custom connector, paste
https://api.kensoforge.com/mcpas the URL, and enterchatgpt-connectoras the Client ID. Leave the client secret blank. - You'll be redirected to kensoforge.com to review and approve the specific data scopes you want to share.
- Ask ChatGPT about your training. It calls Kenso tools only when your question needs them.
What you can ask
Try things like "What's my training load look like?" or "Adjust my current program to swap incline press for a heavier alternative." ChatGPT reads your data only when a question triggers a tool call: it doesn't poll your account in the background.
Manage or disconnect
See exactly what's connected, when it was last used, and revoke access anytime from Settings → Connected Apps in Kenso: see Connected Apps and what they can access. Revoking is immediate.
Good to know
- This requires Kenso Pro.
- You choose which scopes to grant at connection time (training history, programs, health signals, and so on) and can revoke them without uninstalling anything.
