The logger shows two coaching surfaces: small inline tips and context notes on exercise cards, available to any signed-in user on a program workout, and a coach chat scoped to your current workout, which is Pro-only.
Where to find it
Inline tips and notes appear directly on an exercise card, above its set rows. A sparkles icon in the top-right of the logger opens the full coach chat. That one's Pro-only. You can also reach the chat from a specific exercise: tap the exercise's name to open its info sheet, then tap Ask coach about this exercise at the bottom.
Inline tips and notes
When a tip or note appears on a card, tap it to expand and see it in full. If it's actionable (like a suggested swap or an adjustment), Accept applies it immediately, or Dismiss clears it for that card. Context notes (like a note about your current 5/3/1 wave, or an Auto-Progress effort override for the week) are informational only, with no button to act on, and show for everyone regardless of plan.
Asking the coach mid-workout
Tap the sparkles icon, or Ask coach about this exercise from an exercise's info sheet, to open a chat sheet. It knows what you're currently logging (exercises, sets, and progress so far), so you can ask about the workout in front of you without repeating yourself. Opening it from a specific exercise starts the chat pre-filled with a question about that one.
Good to know
- The coach chat (sparkles icon and Ask coach about this exercise) is a Pro feature; inline tips and notes on exercise cards are not. They show for any signed-in user training a program workout.
- The coach can answer questions about your training, but it won't walk you through app screens or settings. Contact support for how-to questions about Kenso itself.
- Accepting a suggested swap or adjustment from a tip uses the same logger actions as doing it yourself, so it shows up the same way in your session.
