Rerun takes a past strength session and starts a brand-new workout with the same exercises, ready to log fresh sets. It's useful for repeating a session outside your usual program, or picking up a workout you liked from a while back.
Where to find it
Stats → History (top-right button on the Performance page) → tap a session to expand it → session's "⋮" menu → Rerun.
What happens
Kenso opens the logger with the same exercises as the original session, in the same order, but with no sets completed. You're starting from scratch, not viewing the old numbers overlaid. If you already have an unfinished workout in progress, Kenso saves or discards it first, the same as starting any other new workout.
If the rerun is tied to a program workout day or location, that association carries over so the session still counts toward that program the way a normal workout would.
When to use it instead of Start a workout
For your regular program days, use Start a workout: it already knows which day is next and builds today's targets for you. Rerun is for the cases that don't fit that flow: an old freestyle session you want to do again, a workout from a program you've since left, or any exercise list you'd rather not rebuild by hand from your exercise library.
Good to know
- Rerun is only available for strength sessions: cardio and recovery sessions don't offer it.
- Your targets for each exercise still come from your current progression, not from the numbers you logged the first time. A rerun isn't a way to repeat a past weight, it's a way to repeat a past exercise list.
- If you're offline when you tap Rerun, Kenso starts the workout locally and syncs it to the server once you're back online.
