You'll see this when Kenso detects a conflict: usually starting a workout while another session on this account is still marked active, often from a previous attempt that didn't close out cleanly (a crash, a lost connection, or two devices at once). Kenso tries to clean up the old session automatically; this message is the fallback for the rare case where that cleanup couldn't confirm with the server, so the old workout might still appear active in the interface until you refresh.
What to do
- Refresh or reopen the app: this clears the stale session view in most cases.
- If an old workout still shows as active after refreshing, discard it from the conflict prompt rather than trying to resume it.
- If it keeps happening, note when and contact support: repeated conflicts usually point to a connectivity issue at the start of a workout.
See workout conflicts for what causes these and how to resolve them.
