New accounts see a "Welcome to Kenso" card near the top of Home with a row of tappable chips, a compact getting-started checklist. Each chip marks itself done automatically as you complete the action, and the whole card is replaced by a short completion celebration once the required steps are done.

Where to find it

Home, inside the insight card near the top of the screen (it takes over the slot the daily coach tip and weekly review normally use). It's visible only for new accounts that haven't finished the required steps yet.

The chips

  • Finish setup: appears if you haven't picked a training style yet; taps back into onboarding to finish.
  • Log first workout: scrolls you to today's workout card; done as soon as you complete a workout.
  • Apple Health (iPhone only): opens the connect flow; done once you connect. See Connect Apple Health.
  • Enter body weight: opens Settings; done once both your bodyweight and age are set. See Set up your training profile.

Two more chips show up only if they apply to you:

  • Import Hevy or Import Strong: shown if you told Kenso during onboarding that you track with Hevy or Strong; opens the import flow. See Bring your training history into Kenso.
  • Import program: offered unless you said during onboarding that you have nothing to bring in; opens the program-from-import picker.

There's no chip for reviewing your program options: that step is tracked in the background and marks itself done the first time you visit the Programs page, since the program card on Home already points there directly.

When it disappears

The checklist counts only the required steps (setup, first workout, Apple Health where it applies, and body weight/age) toward completion. The import chips are optional and never block it. Once every required step is done, the card is replaced by a short "You're all set" celebration, then the checklist is gone for good. If you already had a workout logged the first time Kenso checked, it never shows at all.

Good to know

  • Dismissing the welcome card (its close button) hides it from Home without completing anything. If you finish the remaining steps later, the completion celebration still appears.
  • Tapping a chip takes you straight to the screen for that action.
