The workout logger is one scrolling list of exercise cards, each holding its own set rows, with a fixed header above and a Finish button always in reach. Everything you do during a workout (logging sets, swapping an exercise, checking a rest timer) happens from this one screen.
Where to find it
Tap Start Workout from Home, or tap the banner Kenso shows while a workout is already in progress, to land here.
Header
On a phone, the top bar has a Back arrow, your workout's name, a three-dot menu (Discard workout), and the Finish button. There's no clock up here. A stats strip below the header shows elapsed time (or time left, tap it to switch) alongside sets and volume so far; tapping the strip opens a per-muscle breakdown of the workout. On a tablet or wider screen, the header also shows a compact Time / Sets / Volume readout directly.
Exercise cards
Each card shows the exercise name with a circular thumbnail. Tap either to open Tips, History, or Trend for that exercise. A three-dot menu on the card holds Swap exercise, Strategy, Rest timer, Deload, and Delete. Above the set rows sit any coach tips for the exercise, then your note (or an Add note link), then the REPS label. Tap it to change the target rep range or duration for this session. Long-press a card to drag and reorder your exercises.
Set rows
Each row has a set-type selector (Normal, Warmup, Drop Set, Failure), your Previous performance for that set, Weight and Reps inputs, and an effort box (RPE or RIR, depending on your preference in Settings). Tap the checkmark to mark a set complete. See Log a set for the details.
Adding exercises
An Add Exercise button sits at the bottom of the list (and in place of the list if you started an empty Flexible workout). It opens the full exercise library.
Finishing
Tap Finish when you're done. See Finish a workout.
Good to know
- On a tablet or wider screen, a jump-to-exercise list appears along the side.
- If you're Pro, a coach button (sparkles icon) sits next to Finish for a chat scoped to your current workout. See In-workout coach.
- A rest timer pill appears at the bottom of the screen after you complete a set. See The rest timer.
