Two different things persist across coach conversations: a short evolving summary of what you've discussed, and specific facts the coach has chosen to save about you. Clearing the visible conversation on your device doesn't erase either of those.

Where to find it

Coach page → "New chat" clears what's shown on screen; the brain icon opens "What your coach knows," where saved facts live.

What persists between chats

Your coach doesn't re-read every past message before replying. Instead, it keeps a short, continuously updated summary of your recent conversations, plus any individual facts it's chosen to save (see What your coach remembers). Together, these are what let it pick up context across sessions without re-sending your whole chat history each time.

Clearing your chat view

Tapping "New chat" or "Clear conversation" only clears what's displayed on this device: it's a local, on-device action. It does not delete the rolling summary or any saved memories; those persist until you remove them directly.

Managing what the coach remembers

Open "What your coach knows" (the brain icon) to review, edit, or delete individual saved facts. There's no separate control for the rolling summary; it updates automatically as you keep chatting and fades in relevance as new conversations happen.

Good to know

  • Saved memories and the conversation summary are what make the coach feel continuous across sessions: deleting them means starting over on context, not losing any of your workout data.
  • None of this is shared with anyone else, including other people you might train with in a crew.
