Templates are ready-built programs you can preview and activate without designing anything yourself. Kenso's catalog spans starter, Pro, and Premium tiers, and you can filter it down to find one that fits your level, schedule, and goal.
Where to find it
Programs tab → Change → Templates tab.
Filtering the catalog
The filter row above the list has three controls: Specialized (goal- or sport-specific series like GLP-1 and football), Level (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced), and Type (split, e.g. Full Body or Push/Pull/Legs). Days per week isn't a filter: it's shown as text on each template card, along with the name, split, and level, next to a muscle-focus figure or sport icon.
Template tiers
- Starter templates are free for every account and carry no badge.
- Pro and Premium templates show a lock badge. Tapping one opens the upgrade prompt instead of the preview until you're on Pro. See Free vs. Pro.
Previewing before you commit
Tapping an unlocked template opens a read-only preview of its full schedule (every day, every exercise, sets and reps) before you activate it. Nothing is saved to your account until you confirm from that preview screen.
Recommended for you
When you have an active program, the browse screen can surface a short "Recommended For You" list of templates that match your current goal, days per week, and level, so you don't have to scan the whole catalog to find something similar.
Good to know
- Newly added templates carry a "NEW" badge for a limited window after they're published.
- Activating a template ends your current active program the same way switching programs always does. See Switch Programs for what that means for your history.
- A 5/3/1 template follows the standard four-day Wendler structure; see 5/3/1 for how that program works.
