Beyond text, your coach can draw a chart from your training data, look at a photo you attach, and take a spoken message instead of typed text. Each shows up right in the conversation.
Where to find it
Coach page: the paperclip and microphone icons sit in the message bar; charts appear inline in the coach's reply when they're the clearest way to answer.
Charts
Ask a trend-shaped question, such as "show my bench press progress" or "chart my weekly hard sets," and the coach may answer with a small line or bar chart alongside its reply, instead of numbers in prose alone.
Photos
Tap the paperclip to attach up to four images (JPEG, PNG, or WEBP) to your message: a form-check photo, a screenshot, anything relevant to what you're asking. The coach can see and respond to what's in the photo. Attached photos are only kept for the current session; they aren't saved once you reload the page.
Voice
Tap the microphone to record a spoken message instead of typing. Recording stops when you tap again, and your words are transcribed into the message box for you to review, and edit if needed, before sending. If your device doesn't support microphone access, the voice button won't appear.
Good to know
- Charts, photos, and voice all require AI coaching to be turned on, since each sends data to an AI provider to generate a response: see How Kenso shares data with AI.
- Voice messages are transcribed before being sent as text: the audio itself isn't kept as part of the conversation.
- If transcription doesn't catch what you said, try recording again.
