The recovery map estimates fatigue from what you've actually logged for that muscle (sets, effort, and how recently you trained it), not from how you feel today. A muscle can read as fatigued even when you feel fresh, especially soon after a hard session for it; the map is deliberately cautious right after direct work, which is a separate signal from how you're feeling in the moment. It updates as time passes and as you log more sessions.
What to do
- Open the muscle's expanded row to see which sets are contributing to the fatigue reading.
- Treat "fatigued" as one signal, not a hard stop: weigh it alongside how you actually feel before deciding whether to train it.
- Give it a session or two after a hard day; the reading moves as recent history changes.
