Kenso gives you several ways to get a program: browse a ready-made template, build one yourself (with or without AI), scan a photo or PDF of a program you already have, or let Kenso find a routine hiding in your logged history. Pick whichever fits how much you already know about what you want to train.

Where to find it

Programs tab → Change (or the Create Program / Import Program tiles on the browse screen).

Help Me Choose

If you don't know where to start, tap Help Me Choose on the browse screen. It asks a few questions about your goal and answers with a recommended template, so you don't have to compare programs yourself.

Browse a template

Switch to the Templates tab on the browse screen to see Kenso's built-in programs, filterable by level, split type, and specialized series (like GLP-1 or football). Days per week is shown as text on each card. See Choose a Template.

Build your own

Tap Create Program to build a routine from scratch, either by answering a short set of questions and letting AI assemble the days and exercises, or by adding everything yourself. See Build with AI and Build Manually.

Import from a photo or PDF

Tap Import Program to upload a photo of a whiteboard, spreadsheet, or PDF program. Kenso reads it and builds a draft you can review before saving. See Program from a Photo.

Build from your training history

If you've imported past workouts from another app, Kenso can detect a recurring routine in that history and turn it into a program you can activate. See Program from History.

Good to know

  • A program the coach builds for you in chat also shows up as a draft above your active program on the Programs tab: you review and activate it the same way as any other new program.
  • Whichever path you use, you land in the same editor before anything is saved, so you can always adjust days, exercises, and progression before committing.
