Kenso lets you change your username and password from Settings while you're signed in. If you're signed out and can't remember your password, use the reset-link flow on the sign-in screen instead.
Where to find it
Settings → Account → Username or Change Password.
Changing your username
Tap Username, type a new one, and Kenso checks availability as you type: you'll see "Available," "Already taken," or a note if the name isn't allowed. Usernames must be 3–20 characters: letters, numbers, and underscores only. The save button stays disabled until the name you typed is confirmed available.
Changing your password
Tap Change Password and enter your current password, then your new one twice to confirm. The new password must be at least 8 characters and include at least one number; Kenso checks both before submitting, along with making sure the two new-password fields match. Each password field has an eye icon so you can reveal what you typed instead of guessing.
Resetting a forgotten password
If you're signed out, use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen and enter your email. Kenso emails you a reset link that expires after 1 hour. Request a fresh one from the same screen if it's expired by the time you use it.
Good to know
- If you signed up with Apple or Google, there's no separate Kenso password to change: you sign in through that provider instead. See Signing in with Apple, Google, or email.
- There's no in-app way to change the email address on your account today. If that's blocking you, reach the team through Send Feedback.
