The exercise library holds every exercise Kenso knows, plus any custom ones you've added yourself. Search it, filter by muscle or equipment, and tap an exercise to see its details.

Where to find it

Settings → Exercise Library. The same catalog opens whenever you pick an exercise for a program or swap one mid-workout.

Searching and filtering

Use the search bar to find an exercise by name. Filter by muscle group and equipment category with the two dropdowns at the top of the list.

Sorting

Toggle Sort to switch between the default order (your frequently used exercises first, then alphabetical) and sorting by Kenso tier, with S-tier exercises first within your current filter.

Exercise details

Tap an exercise's info icon to expand it in place. You'll see its movement type, Kenso tier, hypertrophy and strength rep ranges, a form tip when one exists, secondary muscles worked, and a short demo animation if one is available.

Good to know

  • Exercises you've logged recently show a "Used ×N" badge, so your regulars are easy to spot.
  • Exercises you've added yourself carry a Custom badge. See Custom exercises.
  • The tier badge (S/A/B/C) next to an exercise's name is Kenso's read on exercise quality. See Exercise tiers.
  • Rep ranges shown in an exercise's detail are Kenso's canonical guidance for that movement, not a limit. Your program can still target a different range.
  • The library works offline, using whatever was last cached on your device, so you can still browse and expand exercise details without a connection.
  • When you're picking exercises for a program or swap, the same library opens as a bottom sheet instead of a full page, with the same search, filters, and sort.
