Each set row has a Weight box, a Reps box, and a checkmark. Enter both numbers and tap the checkmark (or tap Done on the keypad) to mark the set complete. That's all a set needs.

Where to find it

Every exercise card in the workout logger has one row per set, right below the exercise's name and header.

Filling in the numbers

Tap the Weight or Reps box to enter a value. The Previous column to the left shows what you logged for that same set last time (or "New" if there's no history yet), so you can see what you're working from. On a phone, tapping a Weight or Reps box opens Kenso's own number keypad instead of the system keyboard. See Turn off the logger keyboard if you'd rather not use it.

Set type

Tap the set number on the left of the row to mark it Normal, Warmup, Drop Set, or Failure. Warmup, Drop Set, and Failure sets are shown in a different color (and letter prefix) so they're easy to pick out at a glance.

Effort rating

The box on the right of each row is for RPE or RIR, whichever you've chosen in Settings → Preferences. Tap it to pick a value on a 6–10 (RPE) or 0–4 (RIR) scale; it's optional, and picking a value also marks the set complete.

Good to know

  • Bodyweight exercises show a "BW" badge in the Weight box instead of a number; tap it if you added extra weight.
  • Completed sets turn white/filled so you can tell your progress through the exercise at a glance.
  • On a barbell exercise, the logger keyboard's plate icon opens a per-side plate calculator for the weight you've entered. See Plate calculator.
