Kenso's free plan covers logging and history in full: you can track every workout with no limit. Pro adds the coaching layer on top: automatic progression, the AI coach, long-term analytics, and program sharing. A few free features also carry small usage caps that Pro removes.
What's included free
- Unlimited workout logging
- Flexible Workouts (freestyle logging, not tied to a program)
- Cardio and recovery sessions
- Full workout history
- The manual program builder
- Location-based workout variants
- Workout templates (Push, Pull, Legs, and more)
- Basic stats and personal-record tracking
- Apple Health integration
What Pro adds
- Automatic, recovery-aware progression, so you're not deciding your next weights yourself
- The AI coach and AI program builder, including structured programs like 5/3/1
- Long-term strength projections and advanced analytics
- Sharing a program with someone else
Where free has limits
A few free features work fully but with a cap, rather than being locked outright:
- AI coach messages: free includes a limited lifetime allowance; Pro removes it.
- Program import: free includes one successful import from a photo, PDF, or another app like Strong or Hevy; Pro is unlimited.
- Accepting a shared program: capped at 3 programs total on your account; Pro is unlimited. Building your own programs from scratch isn't capped the same way: the limit applies to accepting someone else's share.
- Program Focus, Strength Score detail, and deep performance analytics show real numbers only on Pro; on free they show sample data with a prompt to upgrade.
Good to know
- The plan badge next to your username in Settings shows your current status: FREE, PRO, or EXPIRED if a past subscription or gift has lapsed. Tap an EXPIRED badge to go straight to the paywall.
- Free never expires on its own and never asks for payment details.
