Deleting a workout removes it permanently from your Kenso history. A workout you logged in Kenso is gone for good once deleted; a workout imported from Apple Health, Oura, or Whoop is only removed from Kenso. It stays in the source app.

Where to find it

Stats → History (top-right button on the Performance page) → tap a session to expand it → session's "⋮" menu → Delete → confirm.

Deleting a workout you logged in Kenso

Kenso shows a confirmation before deleting: "This will permanently delete this workout from your history. This action cannot be undone." Once confirmed, the session, its exercises, and its sets are removed. It disappears from History immediately, and the request finishes in the background.

Deleting an imported (external) workout

For a workout that came from a connected wearable, the confirmation is different: deleting only removes it from Kenso's history. It won't affect the copy in Apple Health, Oura, or Whoop, and a future sync could bring the same workout back if it's still there. If you want it gone for good, delete it from the source app as well.

Good to know

  • Recovery sessions can be deleted from the same menu; deleting one doesn't affect any strength or cardio session logged that day.
  • If you delete a workout by mistake, there's no undo: the only way back is to re-log it or, for an imported workout, sync again from the wearable.
  • Deleting a workout doesn't retroactively change your progression targets for the exercises it contained; those were already set before the delete.
  • To keep a full record before deleting anything, export your history first. See Export your workout data.
