Nothing syncing while Apple Health shows as connected almost always comes down to two things: iOS permissions and your Kenso sync setting, not a broken connection. Apple Health syncs only for the specific data types you've allowed Kenso to read in iOS Settings, so one unchecked category (sleep, heart rate, steps) will look like "nothing is syncing" for only that data while the rest works fine. Separately, Kenso has a setting that controls where synced data goes; if it's set to keep data on this device only, biometrics won't reach Kenso's servers or the web app by design, even though the connection itself is working. Sync also runs when the app is open or resumed, not continuously in the background, so data can lag until you next open Kenso.

What to do

  • In iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Kenso, confirm the specific data types you expect are turned on.
  • In Kenso's health settings, check your sync mode isn't set to on-device-only.
  • Open the app and give it a moment on Home to trigger a sync.
